Everything will most likely look like this (pay more attention to the background rather than the actors It may not be soon. But one can only dream of the future If CCP survives that long, don't forget they did lose funds on WOD and Dust 514 on PS3. It was a bad idea to branch out from their own creation. Adding more doors into it like Dust 514 is wise and cost effective. In the future it would be nice to build things on the planets, not just use them for lolcombat. Mining, transport, escorting, etc.

Quote: What this all means is that despite the erroneous reporting by other news outlets and armchair interpretation of users on social media outlets, CCP is not in an untenable situation, given the major undertakings they have announced and the cancelation of an IP that was in the works for years. Although there have been layoffs, most notably in their North American offices, they are in a strong position so long as they don't announce further cancelations and can make Legion and Valkyrie a success. One can speculate that DUST514 will remain on life support until Legion is complete, and they can buffer the loss of the title. Although some may argue that it would be better to cancel DUST514 now, it would be unwise to announce any cancelations until their current portfolio can better attend to the impact. Many CCP employees, including CCP Mintchip, had been let go well over a year ago, so further dismantling of the DUST514 staff should not come as a surprise.
Although CCP is by no means as healthy financially as they used to be, there is also no reason why they can not make a full recovery and see greater potential earnings in the future. CCP does stand at a precipice now which they have not approached before, and further major setbacks such as the one caused by WoD would prove dire. They maintain good liquidity, and respectable cash reserves for their size, but despite the fact that their profits are similar compared to last year, the balance sheet does reflect a loss in the single digit percentages. They also have to balance all else with paying back both old loans and new. CCP is by no means dead or dying, but World of Darkness certainly gave the company a severe thrashing.
